Metallik Resonator and Neuronal Networks
Today we were visited by two students from the TU Berlin. Valentin and Fares are studying the master program Audio Communication and Technology. For a talk at the Audio Developer Conference 2023 in London, the two are developing a way to bring neural networks and audio plugins together. The talk is titled “Real-time inference of neural networks: a practical approach for DSP engineers.”
For their project, the two required a physical object that could be emulated as a digital model. They chose the Metallik Resonator from Eowave – an electro-acoustic resonator consisting of a 50 cm gong that is set into vibration by an exciter.
Today they were able to make the necessary recordings for training the neural network and to inform themselves about other resonators in our showroom in Ganghofer Straße 1.
