Crunchy drum distortion with the Doepfer A-119-2

On paper, the new Doepfer A-119-2 Dual Input / Amplifier is just a simple utility preamp module that is … until you daisy-chain the two amp stages and turn up the gain! As you can hear, there’s some serious distortion power on tap in this unassuming little module.

To our ears, the honky intermodulating-folding breakup fuzz actually comes quite close to a vintage Mackie mixer. We think this module should be of interest for anyone looking for a bit of Gabba oomph in an affordable and space efficient package!

You can find more information about the A-119-2 as well as shop the module over at SchneidersLaden.
