"Join us for a workshop on the most playful MIDI-sequencer we came across! The Orbita looks like a crude record player but is an unusual sequencer concept. Place colored magnets on a rotating disc, and as they spin past a sensor arm, they trigger MIDI notes! Simple concept, but with surprisingly amazing results!
Playtronica designed this device to make sequencing tangible. Instead of clicking around on a grid, you physically arrange your notes and watch them circle back around.
After the presentation of Orbita we’ll have several stations set-up for you to play around. Get hands-on with this enjoyable sequencer!
12th of February, starts 7pm, free, with no registration necessary"
