Superbooth17 – Kilpatrick Audio
The guys from Kilpatrick Audio showed an early prototype of their mobile music production system Tungsten at Superbooth17. It is an open source, Linux based device that can run a multitude of applications. One of the first programs, which are currently in development, is a tracker-style sequencer.
The Tungsten comes equipped with an OLED display and 25 buttons, line and mic inputs plus a headphone output. For communicating with external gear like synthesizers, controllers or an audio interface, there are MIDI and USB connectors.
