Audiovisionen: Alex Durlak, Gebrüder Teichmann + Lillevan
Audiovisonen is a platform for acoustic, electronic and electroacoustic live music, in the rooms of the Zwingli Church Berlin, with special attention to the interplay with space. For the event on XX of October there will be the following program:
“The Canadian experimental musician Alex Durlak deforms and manipulates the sounds of his guitar with the help of electronics and laptop, transforming them into complex organic sound structures. His living sound organisms rank between Ambient and Drone and resonate with the church space of the Zwinglikirche.
The second part of the concert will be accompanied by Alex and the Teichmann brothers.
With a special electronic live setup, they create an organic and direct interweaving of analog electronics and acoustic sounds, reacting in real time at the interface of electronic, contemporary and experimental music.
The video artist Lillevan, at the time half of the Berlin duo Rechenzentrum and longtime visual companion of the synthesizer pioneer Morton Sobotnik, has worked in his long career on all continents and in probably all contexts from club to opera. His video art is inspired by the pioneers of experimental film and explores the relationship between reality and projection. Lillevan is always on the move, so we are all the more pleased that he will be at home in Berlin on October 18!”
