Haken continuum UPDATE

Mr. Haken from Illinois, U.S.A. has provided us with new on the Haken OS.

Dear Continuum Fingerboard enthusiast,

Version 4.08 firmware is now available for
download for Continuum Fingerboards with
built-in sounds. 4.08 addresses several minor
issues related to our recent 4.07 release:

• A bug fix for playing internal sounds at polyphony 32.
• Corrections to the User Guides.
• A graphical fix in the Continuum Editor.

As well, there is a new naming convention for
firmware data files, making it easier to perform the firmware update.

The 4.08 firmware, Editor, and User Guides are available on the Download
page: http://www.hakenaudio.com/Continuum/html/resources/Downloads.html

We have also posted additional examples using internal sounds:

Thank you very much Dr.Haken!

deliveries

Yeah, we haven´t been too active here for some weeks so in case nobody recognized: we got some deliveries from overseas recently. Here´s an overwiev:

Signal Arts Tetra Maps IN STOCK

After more than one year of waiting we finally received a small batch of the complex eight-track digital sequencer eurorack module Tetra Maps by canadian manufacturer Signal Arts.

Toppobrillo Sport Modulator in Berlin

Toppobrillo sent a bunch of Sport Modulator modules yesterday. They will probably arrive this week.

click here for the SM web page @ Toppobrillo

The sport Modulator has been inspired by Serge´s (in)famous Smooth and Stepped Generator (SSG) and each of the two units features VC lag, triangle LFO, Sample&Hold or staircase voltage generator, depending how you patch it. A comparator jack in the middle outputs gate signals.

A-123 is history

Doepfer´s A-123 24dB HighPass VCF based on the CEM 3320 has been discontinued right now.
Doepfer´s stock is empty as is ours.

Make Noise – BRAINS

Brand new and already IN STOCK!

Make noise officially released the BRAINS module today.

It is a sequencer expander module for the Pressure Points touchplate controllers. By connecting it to one or max. two PressurePoints this combination of modules turns into a touch sensitive four-step or eight-step analogue sequencer. By touching the plates you can reset or freeze to/at the stage you touch.

Touch clock synchronizes touch events to the clock. If the touch clock differs from the master clock, interesting variations of the main sequence occur! Connect it to a MATHS and get hold functions and crazy movements reminiscent Rol@nd185 or  Buchla marf or… funky stuff!

100 Euros and it´s yours.

The amazing Haken continuum controller now has additional sounds delivered with its latest O.S. called continuum_blog4.07.  Slide Wind, Metal Bar, Pluck Tine, and a Feedback String sounds like reasons to buy such an instrument as long as you can afford it and if you do not already own one! The new firmware, a new Editor, and a the User Guide are available from the manufacturers Download page here.

And finally the beautyful stand for the continuum is now available for fullsize and halfsize units. We have to wait for the first shipment another month, but if you see these pics.. one month for such is not a lot!
